What we do... Our mission

Our mission is to bring glory to our clients and help them to fully engage with their guests and audiences through the creation, design and production of live events. The ambition our team brings to the table can help make your events inviting and exciting, boosting not only your attendance, but also your reputation in your industry. Our goal is threefold: to increase interest in attending an event from your organization, encourage participants to stay at each event, and ultimately, to help make an impact on your audience. Our team’s 25 years of experience give us insight and understanding into the demands of our clients. We understand the importance of budget conscious events. We speak your language. We deliver on our promises. Our knowledge and experience enable us to select the best and most trusted venues, vendors, caterers and event professionals. Eventsman is always expanding the breadth and depth of its resources to include only the finest vendors and seasoned industry professionals. Our team will be there by your side to assist with everything from setting up appointments, selection of vendors as well as throughout the entire event process and of course on the days of the event.

How we do it... Step 1

Step 1: Requirements

In this initial interactive stage, project requirements and objectives are developed and refined. We work together to target objectives, create an initial SWOT analysis and create an Artistic Proposal based on your objectives. This Artistic Proposal is a type of “story board” meant to show general direction. The preparation for this requires a team effort between the key decision makers and our designer. We need approx 1hr meeting/phone discussion with your team and approx 7 working days latter a personal presentation with the final decision makers. Once a basic idea has been agreed we begin step 2. (Note before the artistic proposal can be presented we require a basic ‘confidentiality agreement’. Should a full proposal requiring detailed budget breakdowns, renderings etc be required a basic proposal fee (Hk$5000up) will be charged, this fee less any expenses will be deducted from final bill.)

Step 2: Design

During this phase, emphasis is placed upon the “manufacturing” design process to establish blueprints for necessary locations, and drawings for presentation. Appropriate reviews are calibrated against meeting objectives in order to keep the design phase on target. Once an agreement is reached we start production.

Step 3: Production

It is during this phase that the actual construction of all items take place. For instance; hotels booked, film and video shot, music scored, transportation arranged, staging constructed, menus finalized, entertainment booked, agendas manufactured, costumes created etc.

Step 4: Implementation

The Event General Manager and the Events Management & Production Team, are on-site to bring all elements together for a successful event. Load-in, set-up, rehearsals, and adjustments are made to completely satisfy your requirements. This is where our experience and attention to detail come together to deliver a flawless project.

Step 5: Evaluation

At this phase, your event is analyzed comparing audience reaction against the stated objectives of your event. The evaluation, along with a complete financial statement, is then packaged for management use. This information is invaluable to our clients for measuring the impact of their event’s objectives while learning about marketing and opportunities for the future.


Billing / Payments etc.
Events Management and production can be very flexible. For Management our basic fee is 15% of the total budget. However in larger projects we can work on a flat rate. Production is charged on a quotation basis. We can use your contractors or ours. Most items can be created in our workshop better and cheaper. Payments to 3rd parties can be arranged either direct to you or through Events.

Robert is the principal behind Events Man, he is a special event designer and producer. He creates memorable events for both the corporate and private world.

Robert Rogers is a Certified Special Event Professional (CSEP), one of only 250 worldwide and one of two in Asia. Robert is an experience creator who provides and purveys event related products and services for all manner of events. He specializes in experiential event marketing, corporate hospitality and private celebrations. Robert is a thought leader in the Asian event industry. He works tirelessly pushing the limits of the event industry in Asia through his affiliation with the International Special Event Society (ISES). He lectures, teaches and organizes event related educational activity. He is the founding president of ISES Hong Kong and continues as an executive board member. “My strong point is to be able interpret the vision of all the stakeholders and bring the event to reality. On brief, on budget and on time.”

Established in 1993, the “CSEP” designation (Certified Special Events Professional) recognizes event professionals who have successfully demonstrated the knowledge, skills and the ability essential to perform all components of a special event.



Being a recipient of the CSEP designation is the hall mark of achievement within the special event industry. This certification demonstrates experience, dedication and professionalism in the industry. Above all it shows that the events industry, the individual’s peers and colleagues recognize them to be an expert in the field.
